All the line items from your CSV or XML will be imported into your project, along with the codes and the amounts (Note. All amounts will default to a Fixed Price). This can be done by creating a project, then selecting the 3rd option ("File" in the attached screenshot) and then choosing what file you wish to import by clicking the "Choose file" button.
If the file you choose to import has accounts which DO NOT exist in the general ledger/COA, you will be informed and given the option to add the accounts to the general ledger/COA as well your project. If you select 'Skip', the accounts will not be added into the general ledger/COA or your project.
If you wish to import CSV or Movie Magic file at some point after creating the project, you can do this by going into the Budget screen, Turning on the "Edit" switch and clicking the "Add" button on the right side of either "Above the line" or "Below the line" items.
If you do not yet have a Movie Magic XML file, follow these steps to export a file from Movie Magic which can be imported into KAHA. In Movie Magic, Select File -> Export -> EP Vista Accounting (Native) - XML. Then choose a destination to save the file (shown in screenshot).
